On Wednesday we recognize the survivors of the residential school system and their families, as well as commemorate the children who never returned home.

Just a reminder to parents and guardians that the school bus will be departing from the school at 12:30 and students will be dismissed. If parents/guardians are at the school and wish to keep their children with them for the ceremonies, drumming, dancing, or other commitments, please make sure you check in at the main office.
October 1st is also Treaty Day which commemorates the historic Peace and Friendship Treaties signed between the Mi’kmaq Nation and the British Crown in 1752.
In honour of both these days there will be no school on Thursday, October 1st, or Friday October 2nd,
