Activities and Culture at Esgenoôpetitj School

Throughout the year the hallways of Esgenoôpetitj School will be filled with displays, exhibits and examples of student work.

Writing samples, art, beading, cultural displays, 100 Days of School Celebrations, sewing, and artifacts, are just some of the objects for not just staff and students to see but also visitors to the school. This will all be highlighted by Mowiomi’s organized by staff, students, and the community to highlight Mi’kmaq culture and tradition.

Activities are offered to our students and take place at school either during school hours and after school.
Students can sign up on a Sign Up Sheet, and activities provided are teacher-led, on a volunteer basis.
Some activities/camps take place at the school during the summer months, but are usually led by University/College students, and open to the public.
