Tuesday September 3rd, 2024 will be the first day for Kindergarten- Grade 8 students for the 2024-2025. Walking club in the gym and breakfast in the cafeteria will start at 8:00 am. This is also a friendly reminder first dismissal time is 2:30 pm for Kindergarten to Grade 2. Classes will begin at 8:30 with the playing of “The Honor Song”. As a friendly reminder to parents of children, there are new directions pertaining to the RESPONSIBLE USE OF CELL PHONES in place. If Kindergarten to Grade 5 students bring a cell phone to school, they are encouraged to give it to their homeroom teacher for safe storage until the end of the day. In Grade 6 – 8 at the teacher’s discretion, cell phones may be allowed in classrooms for educational reasons. During class time, Middle School teachers will have students place their cellphones in a designated area of the classroom on silent mode. The students will be allowed to have their phones at lunch but must be returned when classes resume at 12:30. Cell phones are not to be given back to students when they go to the washroom or at recess. Students who use their cellphone for medical reasons, may continue to use it.
